Amitabh Bachchan not well, Mehrunissa delayed
The forthcoming project of Sudhir Mishra Mehrunissa will have to wait for a couple of weeks more. Amitabh Bachchan is not keeping well these days and so he cannot shoot for the film. His health problem has made Mehrunissa wait for some more time.
The film however includes some impressive star cast that comprises names like Amitabh Bachchan, Rishi Kapoor and Vinod Khanna. Though the female lead is not finalsed as of yet, but grapevine suggests that Katrina Kaif may play the lead in the movie.
Rumors are rife that Sudhir wanted to cast Chitrangada Singh in the lead role but the production house wasn’t in a mood to cast Singh. Then Nikhil Adwani has suggested casting Katrina. If Kat plays the lead we will get to see her in a brand new avatar of a girl in her 20s to a woman in her later 60s.
Amitabh Bachcan has undergone a major surgery two months back and then again fallen ill. As he is recuperating these days, the makers have no choice but to wait for some time.
