When reports suggested earlier that Vidya Balan has been signed for the lead role in Sudhir Mishra’s forthcoming film ‘Mehrunissa’, her fans were excited.

However, the actress never confirmed the news. Vidya stated that she us yet to read the script of the film and finalize anything.
She has some date issues and so she was contemplating hard on the project. She has given two back to back hits and now every filmmaker wants to have her in his film. Her last films ‘The Dirty Picture’ and ‘Kahaani’ were a hit at the box offices. Her role and performance was highly appreciated by fans and critics equally.
These days she is preparing for a comedy film ‘Ghanchakkar’ where she is paired opposite Emraan Hashmi for the second time.
Vidya has earlier confessed that she would love to work for Sudhir Mishra.
Mehrunissa will have Amitabh Bachchan and Rishi Kapoor in the lead roles.
